Reviews From Our Customers I AM SOLD ON IT!!! I received the New & Improved Diaper Genie as a gift. I had registered for the Diaper Champ after reading all of the reviews, and I SERIOUSLY considered exchanging the Genie for it. I decided to give it a try, and after four months of use, I am glad I kept it. It is relatively easy to use and replace refills, definitely contains any odor, and has not given me any problems. The only negative comment I could possibly make is that sometimes the cutter will not engage and cut the bag completely when emptying the Genie. You can easily use scissors to finish the job, and I don't consider it a big problem. (I didn't deduct any stars for this.) The refills are not that expensive if purchased at Wal-Mart or in the three-pack. The Diaper Genie is smaller than the Diaper Champ, and that is a big plus to me. I can conveniently tuck it in a corner out of the way of everything. Just make sure you get the New & Improved model, and you can't go wrong. Truly is the BEST!! Nevermind what some of the other reviews say. I have had both the old diaper genie, and (currently) the new and improved diaper genie. I wouldn't have needed the new one if my husband hadn't broke the ring inside the old diaper genie. But with our 2nd kid, I was excited ti get the newer version of the diaper genie. It really is improved!!! All you have to do to dispense of a dirty diaper is push it into the pal, close the lid, and turn the knob (which clicks twice) then your done. Once the pail is full, to empty is a cinch as well. push the cutter button, and turn the knob, and presto its cut. unlock the bottom of the bin, and hold over trash can, and your done! Its so easy my 90 year old blind grandma could do it! Theres something wrong with you if you can't use this thing right. Oh, and the smell...what smell..I only smell the diapers once if at all, and thats when I'm dumping them into the trash can. My suggestion...get a diaper genie. Excellent I can not say enough about this It is smell free and is eady to use. i can not believe the terriable reveiws. My one complaint is it's a little tricky to refill but you get used to it.
