A MUST HAVE!
My baby is now 7 months old, but had to write a review on the things i loved her first 6 months. as a new mom I did a lot of reading reviews while pregnant, and they helped me narrow down my choices.^M
This is a godsend!
When I first brought my daughter home from the hospital I expected that she would like this swing because it looks so cozy and comfortable. I was wrong. She didnt like her swing, bouncer or bassinet. She only wanted to be held, so I obliged. After two weeks I attempted to put her in this swing again. At that point she could see better and became instantly mesmerized. I assumed she was watching the birds that swirl and spin above her, but my boyfriend has pointed out that there is a large circular mirror in the middle of the birds and we believe our daughter may just be watching herself! Either way she will sit quietly in her swing or fall asleep staring at herself and allow me some time to cook or clean. This swing is amazing and the colors are very neutral. They blend nicely into the living room. It also looks very soft and comfortable.
We think it's great, but our 4 week is undecided....
We bought it because it has all the features, design, comfort that we would like our little boy to like. Problem is, he is not convinced of it's benefits yet. He might be a little too small as he sinks down pretty far. Since it is not a good fit, yet, we really haven't used it for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Unfortunately for us, he hasn't really taken to sleeping or being lulled by it yet. He is really drawn to the mobile, though. The fabric is fantastically soft, so we hope he likes it. It is very quiet. It has a lot of toys and other features, so again, we hope he takes to it.^M
