I reviewed the same brand/model line swing earlier where I alluded to the fact our son loves this chair. When he is on the edge of being fussy or sleepy, we stick him in this with his favorite pacifier and we can count a few quiet minutes to come.(If not more)^M
Comfy place for a newborn
I didn't purchase this item until my daughter was 3 weeks old, but even as I type this, I can tell it's going a be a favorite place for her to nap. She took to it like a fish to water. It wasn't difficult to assemble, it took me about 10 minutes. I purchased it because my mother mentioned how uncomfortable her granddaughter looked in her car seat. I'm glad I bought it. Definitely worth the $50.
Lifesavior during the first few weeks
This is the only place that my son would sleep for more than an hour during the first few weeks. He enjoyed both the music and vibrations and would nap in it while I did housework. The only unfortunate thing is he outgrew it at about four months.
