The Only Diaper Bag You'll Need
I went through three Land's End diaper bags with my first two children -- they had all the compartments I needed and the Land's End name, but they just didn't hold up to constant abuse, food crumbs, zipper jams, etc. I've always equated the name Eddie Bauer with rugged outdoors stuff, and I took the chance and got this one for my third. I haven't regretted the move. It is spacious without being overly big, with pleny of compartments for diapers, wipes, toys, clothing changes, blankets, nursing pads and ointment, you name it. The outer pockets can hold bottle or, for other nursing moms like me, little toys you can quickly access to keep baby amused. The material is durable and easily cleaned, and it's not overly babyish with dancing animals all over it. It matches the Eddie Bauer travel system, too... definitely a must-have purchase for parents to be.

I chose this diaper bag because it matched the Eddie Bauer travel system perfectly. Another important reason why I chose this bag was because the pattern wasn't baby-ish...afterall, I am the one that will be carrying it around! Not to mention, the dark colors keep it looking clean.
At first I thought it was really big, but as it turns out, it's just perfect when you have to carry so much stuff around. I can fit all of the baby's necessities in just this one bag, eliminating the possibility of leaving something behind...this is especially helpful when you're a working single mom and need to pack up everything for the trip to the babysitter every day.
I can fit 8 diapers, changing pad (included with the purchase of the bag), wipes, extra clothing items, (2) receiving blankets, baby's lotion & toiletries, can of formula, small bottled water for formula, (2) 8-Oz VentAire bottles, and there is still room left! Of coarse, you can fit all of this stuff in if you pack everything neatly.
I also got the matching mini-bag (I couldn't resist) for short trips. I registered for this item, but would have spent the money on it either way... This bag is great and I highly reccomend it to those who like to keep baby's things organized.

I absolutely love this diaper bag. I also have the matching Metro Mini and they are both very good. This bag has plenty of room to hold everything I need for the baby for longer outings- I pack a hefty bag. I carry everything- extra outfits, receiving blankets, feeding items, diapers, wipes, changing pad, first aid and grooming items and sometimes a manual breast pump. etc. I also have plenty of room for my own items- a book, cell phone, car keys, etc. Another advantage of this bag is that it doesn't look girly, so my husband can carry it without feeling too silly- great for men to carry too! This bag is also very durable, and comfortable to carry. I love this diaper bag! I also recommend the Metro Mini that matches, for short trips where you don't need to carry much.
