Reviews From Our Customers Cute bedding theme and nice product Although it was quite expensive, we bought this bedding set in late 2002 for our nursery to go with the Musical Parade theme and we still like it. We don't use the quilt (It hangs on the wall) but my 15 month old son loves to look and point at all the animals. We have had issues with the bumper-it just doesn't seem to fit our crib properly and I even ripped one of the ties trying to tie it onto the crib. We still like the set and it is unisex so my baby girl (due in August) will get to use it soon! My advice to other parents-to-be who are shopping for bedding and nursery items...shop around and remember that the room will not be a nursery forever and it may not be the same child's nursery for long! The Amazing Shrinking Bumper I was so excited to get this bedding set as a shower gift. It had everything I wanted with great colors and adorable animals. The problem is in the wash. I followed the directions exactly washing the bumper and comforter in cold water and low heat dry. Well, the bumper shrunk. I went back to babies-r-us to get another set. This time I washed the bumper in cold water and lined dryed it outside. Guess what, it still shrunk and doesn't fit the crib properly. I'm frustrated because this set matches other pieces in the room. All I can tell you is don't wash or dry the bumper...which doesn't sound to clean to me. If anyone has any suggestions on keeping the bumper from shrinking, I'd love to hear from you Nice for either sex My husband and I didn't find out the sex of our first baby and picked this out for the nursery before our baby was born. We had a little girl and it is nice for her. Now when we have our second, we can pass it down to the next one no matter which sex it is! The colors are great and the animal theme is cute. Not too frilly or boy-ish. Good common ground.
