Baby Product Description

Converting from an infant bathtub to a toddler's bath seat, this inexpensive, 4 Stage Bath System is the only baby tub you will ever need. With a gently sloping angle, slip-resistant foam pad, and a drain plug for emptying water, the bathtub works well for infants. At 26 inches long, it will fit into many large, single-basin sinks and three wide suction cups on the base will help secure the tub on smooth countertops in the kitchen or bathroom. As baby grows older and is able to sit up, you can place the bathtub into a full-size tub, flip down the fold-out base, and you now have an upright bath seat for your toddler. An arm bar (with a built-in spin toy) and T-bar restraint now keep baby in position against the back of the nearly vertical tub, allowing Mom and Dad easy access from the side. --Chris Burns

Reviews From Our Customers

Not bad for a young baby, but...

I registered for and received this tub as a gift. We have used it since my daughter was able to take regular baths. I really liked it for the first six months when using it in the tub mode. I didn't have any of the problems with her toes getting caught under the blue toy bar or anything. But when it was time to convert the tub to the bath seat, I have had nothing but problems. First, it is difficult to convert. After doing it the second time, the arm of it got a slight crack in it. Once, even though I heard it "snap", the seat tipped as soon as I put my daughter in it. I also agree that the front suction cup doesn't work well unless the tub is very wet. The T-bar gets in the way of washing my daughter thoroughly; I have to stand her up. The upright design makes hair washing difficult, even after I bought a shower sprayer that attaches to the faucet for rinsing. She still gets water in her eyes. I thought this tub would be great when I saw it in the store, but I have been looking for something else for the last two weeks. However, I would use it again for a baby less than six months old.

OUCH!

This turns into a toddler sit up type tubseat. There is a bump where the baby leans back. Because when it was a tub it was where his butt rested, now its just a pain in the butt. I had to buy a new one just because how uncomfortable he looked in it. Bath time is no fun, if they are cranky cause somethings pokin' them in the back the whole time.

DON'T BUY THIS TERRIBLE TUB!

Reasons not to buy: you have to use a towel or cushion just to keep your baby somewhat upright, your baby will get his toes and feet caught under the bar on the front and start screaming and crying and he'll have red marks all over his precious feet, the suction cups are so strong that you can't move the tub or turn it over to get the water out, the little toy on the front does not even turn, the tub is too short if you have a 3 month old that is a little above average in length...it's just a terrible tub!
